Hi, my name is Sebastian Park. I am currently a community college student at Los Angeles City College. I am majoring in Physics and I am going to be applying for transfer as an undergraduate to a 4-year university this fall. I did an REU this summer at the UC Berkeley Space Sciences Laboratory. I was part of the ASSURE 2025 REU. My research involved studying various properties of the solar wind and CMEs using data from Solar Orbiter. This was actually my first time getting involved in the space sciences. My experience this summer led me to develop an interest in solar physics. As of now, my goal is to continue learning more about solar physics and pursue a research career in the field.
