The CET is excited to invite all COFFIES Members to a virtual workshop to continue developing the COFFIES Collaboration Agreement (CCA), to be held on Wednesday, May 27, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM PT / 1:00 – 5:00 PM ET via the COFFIES General Zoom Room. Please plan to attend as much of the workshop as possible, even if you cannot participate in its entirety.

This workshop builds on the foundation laid at our January workshops and the community survey we circulated via email several weeks ago. Thank you to everyone who participated in both. The CCA is a living document, and this workshop is the next step in shaping it together as a community.

Some of what we will discuss reflects practices that COFFIES already does well, and we are putting them on paper so that our norms are explicit and shared. Other topics are areas where we don’t yet have active strategies, and we’ll be developing those together. Either way, this is your agreement, and your voice matters in shaping it.

A draft of the CCA will be circulated in advance of the workshop. Reviewing it beforehand is not required, but we strongly encourage it. Familiarity with the current draft will help make our time together as productive as possible.

This session will be recorded for internal review only and will not be distributed publicly. We also recognize that some topics may be easier to engage with outside of a recorded setting, so an anonymous feedback form will be available throughout the workshop for anything you’d prefer not to say on the record.
