Lydia Korre is a Research Associate in the Department of Applied Mathematics at CU Boulder and a member of the COFFIES Convection Team. Her research is motivated by different hydrodynamic and magnetohydrodynamic processes of stellar interiors such as convection, overshooting convection, transport of magnetic fields, dynamos and mean flow generation which she studies via the use of 3D numerical simulations on supercomputers and semi-analytical methods.
