My name is Andrey Stejko, and I recently graduated with my PhD in Applied Physics from NJIT. I am now working there as a postdoc/research scientist on developing new techniques in global solar modeling. I have an interest in linear and non-linear MHD computational fluid dynamics on highly parallelized computing architectures and developing new modeling codes. My interests outside of research are oriented around sports and travel—I love to go snowboarding, hiking, rock-climbing and I recently picked up kendo. I love meeting new people and collaborating inside and outside of the lab.
