Exciting times ahead at AGU 2023!

We’ve got a bunch of awesome COFFIES events lined up, and we don’t want you to miss a thing. Here’s the lowdown:

COFFIES@AGU Google Calendar:

Check out presentations from our fantastic Beans as well as early-career members of the other DRIVE Science Centers in this spreadsheet. If time permits, we’ll add specific Beans presentations to the public calendar (above)!

COFFIES Table at NASA Booth:

📅 When:

Tuesday, Dec 12, 10 am - noon
Tuesday, Dec 12, 4 - 6 pm
Wednesday, Dec 13, 4 - 6 pm

📍 Where: Exhibit Hall (NASA booth)

📌 Come say hello and hang out to help us field questions!

DRIVE Center Hyperwall Presentation:

📅 When: Thursday, Dec 14, 10:15 am

📍 Where: Exhibit Hall (near NASA booth)

Outreach Opportunities:

📅 When: Tuesday, Dec 12, 5:30 - 7 pm

📍 Where: Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (East Palo Alto)

📌 This is a showcase for the youth at the club and will have families there also. There are many Spanish speaking families at this club. Note that COFFIES does not have an ”official” presence at this event and that you will need to provide your own transportation. But don’t let that stop you!!

📅 When: Thursday, Dec 14, 6 - 10 pm

📍 Where: California Academy of Sciences

📌 COFFIES members will be there handing out informational flyers and with a Magic Planet (like a portable “Science On a Sphere”)! Come engage the public with us!
