Hi! I’m Robert Bush, a junior undergraduate student at Tufts University in Medford, MA double majoring in physics and mathematics. Since I’m originally from North NJ in Wantage, I’ve spent the past year doing research at the New Jersey Institute of Technology under COFFIES members Dr. Alexander Kosovichev and Dr. JT Stefan, studying extreme ultraviolet (EUV) coronal shockwaves generated without CMEs. I participated in NJIT’s Institute for Space Weather Sciences REU last year and again this year, and I’m hoping to write my first paper soon! In my free time, I enjoy playing Nintendo-related video games, watching movies and TV shows, or doing any type of cardio/weightlifting.
