Born in Colombia in 1978. PhD from University of São Paulo in Brazil. Two postdoctoral appointments at NORDITA (Sweden) and Stanford University. Now an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil), and a visiting scientist of the Physics Department of NJIT during a sabbatical year.
