Dr. Bercik is a Project Physicist at the Space Sciences Laboratory at UC Berkeley. His research interests include magnetoconvection in the interior and near-photospheric layers of the Sun and Sun-like stars, simulations that are driven by observations of photospheric magnetic fields, and visualization of large scientific data sets. He is a co-developer of the radiative-MHD code RADMHD, which is designed to evolve active region-scale magnetic fields through the solar convection zone-to-corona system.
